Research Book 2010
The research book is the base for a healthcare project of mine, communicating my explorations and approaches within the subject. It aims to present the research in a compact and vivid way.
The medicine package is a simple metaphor closely linked to healthcare. Medicine has a controversial impact. Either it can be the life saving mean or simply used as a quick solution, avoiding a deeper look into the problem. We as designers should design concepts that provide the exact opposite, sustainable, questioning solutions. This picture shall transport my concept as an alternative medicine.
Besides the drug, such a package includes the patient information leaflet, which is a manual, summarizing all important facts and background information. This is basically the equivalent to the research for my concept. The push puppet hidden in the medicine bottle alludes to an active lifestyle, which I as a designer want to promote, i.e. push the people to be active.
