Fast Ener 2011
This shoe-design shall provide a simple and quick fastening-solution, especially considering disabled people. The mechanism works with buttons and rails and thus reduces the use of laces; pulling and pushing suffices.
The design was developed in cooperation with a 3d-printer-company. The idea was to make use of the advantages and characteristics of this technology, as for instance the production of complex mechanisms in one piece.
