These material studies explore the characteristics and qualities of selfmade bioplastics. The research in cooperation with Constanze Buckenlei and Tijmen Dekker was part of a whole design generating concept, which resulted in biological lego bricks.

This work was an experiment that just exists merely as try-out. It is a poured connection consisting of copper-filings embraced by resin. Grouted in several layers the resin connects the copper pieces and forms them to a conductive unity, leading to a bulb. Thus the object replaces part of the cable. Furthermore, it visualizes the flow of electricity and thereby creates an interesting overall picture. The object can be extended in size and number of holders to vary the placement of the bulbs.
